At that time 1 really did not gel much of a response from any of them, but I will say that for the
remaining 2 or 3 months of that school term, I could have not expected better behavior and receive more
cooperation from anybody than I did those 4 guys, and to this day the 2 of them who are still alive, Hill
Brannon and Pat Summerall, 1 want them to know that 1 appreciate the way that they cooperated with
me and helped me to get through what could have been a difficult situation for me. They were mature
enough to understand the position I was in, and as I said, they were all very intelligent guys, and really
wanted to help me in any way they could. I appreciate that to this day.
