Congratulations, Seniors, upon the successful completion of an important phase in your
                   preparation for the future!
Congratulations, Underclassmen, upon the completion of another year's progress toward
                   that goal!
As you leave the halls of Columbia High School, we trust you take with you the keys to
success which will mean much to you in the years to come. There is the key of academic
knowledge and the key of social adjustment; and may we suggest also that you take
with you the most important key of all? That is the key of a right relationship with God
                   through His Soo, Jesus Christ.
This key is most important for it is needed by all. "For all have sinned and come short
of the glory of God." Rom. 3:23, "For the wages of sin is death ... " Rom. 6:23. This
universal need is born of universal sin and its resulting condemnation.
Not only is this key needed by all, but it is provided for all for John 3:16 tells us, "For
God so loved the world that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have
everlasting life." and, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:18
Since this key is of utmost importance to you and is purchased for you already, will you
not now receive it by receiving Christ as your personal Savior from your sin and face
the uncertainties of the future with the most powerful friend of all by your side? Jesus
said, "Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise Cast out." and also, "I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee," John 6:37 and Hebrews 13:5.
May your fJture by a happy one, lived in the light of His presence in your life!
