Students Speak Out For Democracy

"My Responsibility as a Citizen,"
was theme for the 1973-74 "Voices of
Democracy" contest. This contest is
sponsored each year by the Veterans
of Foreign Wars for students inter-
ested in voicing their opinions on
subjects concerning Democracy.
Students are required to speak be-
tween 3 to 5 minutes to be qualified
in the judging. Through this contest,
students are able to show their con-
cern and responsibilities as a citi-
zen, towards democracy now and in
