Yearbook (yir'book) n. A book published annually, presenting information about the
                    previous year.

As we look at the definition given in the Funk & Wagnalls Standard Dictionary, it some-
how appears incomplete. Why, it doesn't even mention the names Colvin Carter and
Diane Harrison! Without these two people, you wouldn't be reading this page right now.
Where are the following words: hard work, frustration , layout sheets, picas, deadlines,
ads, money, sleepless nights, short tempers, copy blocks, trapped white space, and
imaginations? Surely the definition wouldn 't be complete without these words! Yes,
if we could write a dictionary, we would lengthen quite a few definitions. Here are
                    some examples.
