A Star Is Born
Excitement filled the air as 12
contestants competed for the title of
Miss CHS 1980.
In addition to the talent contest,
each young lady was judged on her
appearance in sports and evening
wear Prior to the night of the con-
test, each had written an essay and
had been evaluated by her teach-
ers. After each answered a question
drawn by the emcee, the long
awaited moment arrived.
Lynn Chasteen was crowned Miss
CHS 1980. First runner-up was Se-
lina Goble; 2nd runner-up, Lisa Wa-
ters; 3rd runner-up, Lori Williams;
and 4th runner-up, Wendy Ponce.
