The Senior Year ... Truly, to paraphrase
Dickens, " The Best of times, the worst of
times." The moments we looked forward to
approached so fast. We anticipated it, we felt
it, we could almost taste it as the days sped by
... Graduation ... the pot of gold at the end of
the rainbow ... the culmination of years of hard
work. But as so often is the case, our moment
of ultimate joy was coupled with sadness. We
spent all those years together and we never
really worried about having to meet new
people, make new friends. Somehow we all
knew everybody. And it seemed that as soon as
we said hello, we said good-bye. Graduation
meant that we had to accept the fact that we
won't always have a common meeting place to
see our friends everyday. Some of us are going
to college, moving, or starting time consuming
jobs. In a way, Graduation was the hardest test
we had to take ... it was a test to see if we
could stand on our own two feet. We will be
testing these skills to see if we can make it in
life. There will be no make-up testl
