Let The Debate Begin!

What exactly is debate? Well,
debate may just be one of the
roughest sports around. Unlike
football, debaters are not subject to
tackling or being tackled. But all
the research and case work put
together is enough to make one faint
from exhaustion . The 91 -92
school year is the first year
Columbia High has had a debate
team. But this years members got
the team off to a good start. Five
members went to district
competition and walked away with

Mykell Garrison was one of the two people to receive a
perfect score at district competition.

Mrs. Wheeler and Mrs. Goldwyn prepare the lesson for
the debate class.
Five of the debate team members went to the district
debate tournament and returned home with some wins.
