Coco Chanel, Liz Claiborne, Forenza, Guess, and Esprit
are some brand names sported by many high school
students. However, these days the vogue thing to do is to
create your own fashions. Some shirts have the transpar-
ent sleeves, middles, and even totally sheer shirts are
popular. Hats are another way students express their
fashion sense. Big hats, black hats, and vintage hats can
be seen atop students' heads. With increased awareness
of the damage we are inflicting upon our environment,
many students are going natural. Less or no make-up in
earthtones and natural hair are in.
The guys are pretty much wearing the same things
they always have. Jeans and a shirt. The jeans vary from
black to worn-in; acid-wash is still popular, and an occa-
sional rip or two doesn't hurt. Anything from consign-
ment shopping to attic hunting to braving the fearsome
malls, the groovy thing about current fashion is that it's
