The Best Side of Teachers
Some teachers are more than teachers;
they go out of their way to be sure that
students achieve the highest for
themselves, both in school and preparation
for later life. They are mentors, involved in
school activities, inspiring students and
helping them to be, with a little trust and
encouragement, what they are truly
capable of being.
Ms. Ring organizes graduation, helping
students acquire caps and gowns, while Mr.
Joye sponsors the annual Envirothon
competition. Mrs. Whitfield coordinated
the Winterfest activities for 1994, while
Mrs. Carter and her students are responsible
for the yearbook.
Over the years, the teachers on these
pages have built up reputations as those
ready to help, willing to listen to student
problems and offer good solutions. They are
also involved in organizing student
activities or, to put it a different way,
giving students something to have fond
memories of after graduation.
And that is truly the best side of Mrs. Carter, not able to take time to pose for a photograph, implores students to finish the yearbook
teachers. the deadline.
