                                   Academic Team are no stranger
                                   to pressure and challenge.
                                   They participate weekly in
                                   matches that stretch the brain
                                   to its full potential.
                                   Competition is tough, but the
                                   clock is tougher so quick
                                   thinking and fast reflexes are
                                   the name of the game.
            "I answered a question
         that no one knew with
         "Spam," since it is our
                                   Ajay Mhatre has Jason Worley
mascot, which, hopefully, straighten his tie. Making a fashion
confused the other team statement is an important part of
                                   freshman mind control.
         utterly and allowed us to
         trounce them like
         lemmings. "
                  -Mike Miller

           ''I enjoy the competition,
         the academic atmosphere,
         and meeting new people,
but most of all I enjoy a
         bowl of hot soup."
                   -Juan Sierra

             "The Academic Team
        provides young Americans a
        chance to learn valuable
        skills such as power tool
        control, automotive skills,
        wood working, and
masonry. Most of all, we get
        to play with neato buzzers
that sound like a bell and
        have red lights. Lots of
        cool."
-Ben Killian Mrs. Cox is one of the faithful sponsors Ben Killian, Mike Miller, Brian Mimbs, and John Ranken get psyched up for a
