Rise and Shout!
School spirit is a major part of a student's
high school years. Cheering on the football
team is important to the players. Along with
cheering on the football team, everyone
should also cheer on the basketball, baseball,
golf, soccer, softball, swimming, track,
volleyball, and wrestling teams as well. All
of the participants in these sports would
prefer many fans to be at the games. If they
knew that many people were cheering them
on, they would be more likely to win. School
spirit is extremely important if a person
expects all of their Tiger teams to win!
Contrary to popular belief, the
cheerleaders and fellow players are not the
only people allowed to jump and yell for their
favorite team! Every single student is
encouraged to scream and cheer on the Tigers.
A pep rally is not needed for this. Going to the
actual games arc even more important. Every
student should be seen at all of the games.
School spirit is important and fun. GO
TIGERS!
Kasia Portee, Sheila Steward, and Necole
Dixon wave before the pep rally.
Decorated hats are one way of
Varsity football players display their enthusiasm for the upcoming game. Jonathon Roberts likes to show
his spirit by painting his face.
