AP takes you
to the top!
The Advanced Placement
courses offer CHS students an
alternative to attending the
Junior College for credit. AP
classes meet everyday at the
High School and are taught by a
group of dynamic instructors
who cover college level
materials and prepare their
students for the BIG test in the
spring that determines whether
or not they get college or high
school credit. There is a big
challenge for all the students
enrolled in these classes
because the materials are hard
and the pace is intense.
Amanda Ogden says, "I have
really enjoyed my AP classes
and feel they have prepared me
for classes at UF." Jana Powell
takes AP American History and
"loves it!" Stephen Francis
takes THREE classes and says
"they are a lot more fun and a
lot more work, but I really
enjoy them!"
