RAIN or shine, then or now
no matter where we ploy,
TIGERS ore on the prowl.
To a Dowg, The Jungle
may seem like on ordinary
field, but to a Tiger It's more
than just turf. It Is history,
tradition, and honor In the
making.
The Columbia and
Suwannee rivalry has been
a favorite of coaches,
players and fans for as long
as any alumni con
remember. This game was
no exception. The only
difference was the location.
The Tigers hod transferred
from Memorial Stadium to
The Jungle. There were
thousands of fans at the
game. Although the
Tiger's strength was rained
on, they returned the next
evening with more power
than the Dowgs could
handle. The score of 24
Tigers 14 Bulldogs proved
that the fight for the Oaken
Bucket was won by
Columbia.
Athletic Director. Donny
Owens, feels the new
stadium is a great asset to
Columbia County. Not only
to the football program but
to the athletic program as a
whole. The Jungle will only
improve Columbia's
appearance, spirit, and
record.
The '94-'95 Tiger team,
spirit leaders. and
classmates should feel a
great pride. We haven't
just mode history. we hove
lived lt.
