TIGER EWS
Columbia High chool now has a student-

have a program on the Lake City Community
College public acce channel that would deal with
activitie and problems that occur at C.H.S.. Ideas
for chool-related storie begin in the journalism
clas and the article read by the anchors are written
by journalism students.
Tiger ews is a part of the call-in show
Teen Talk Live that is also produced by
students. On this program, viewers may call
in and ask questions about problems that
they are having in and out of school. The
panel answering questions is made up of

Repre entative Randy Mackey and Senator
George Kirpatrick.
Michelle Hunter and Lisa Liberty are the
current anchors of Tiger ews and this is good
experience for them since they both plan to pur ue
careers in communications. The first news how was
anchored by Laura Kam, Kelly Wilson and Kimmy
Tompkins. Jeremy Farnell is the director and he is
in charge of all of the filming and doe many of the

the project and de erve almost all of the credit.
Matt Killian is also an important part of the
production, he help with editing and does much of
the filming involved.
The entire staff of Tiger ews
would like to thank the Lake City
Community College, and especially
Kerri Hagler, Mike McKee, and the
