Miriam learns how to walk. May 18 Miriam's first birthday. Since a few days she is pulling up on furniture, is shaking from the
left and right, she lets herself go and ... is falling on her bum. She is crying and scolding. I am consoling her and I give her more courage to
try it again. On the early morning of her first birthday she is staying on an armchair again, calling out loud "Mom, Mom," and is running into
my arms- she got it; the first steps in the life of a child- this was the best birthday present for everybody. Since that moment she 1s
walking her way straight through her life. And thafs what she did nearly one year ago on the airport in Gennany, when she walked through
customs duty to make her first steps without her family in a foreign country. Miriam learned how to walk. I am very proud of you, and I wish
you for the next steps in your life a lot of luck.
