Joseph Parrish
Joseph,
It seems like only yesterday you started
to arr1ve on Christmas Day and then decided
you wanted your own day, so you waited until
December 26th to get here. Now you will be
our sixth to take that graduat1on walk and
cross from carefree childhood into adulthood,
and r am sure that you will also do that 1n
your own way.You have always reminded me of
the cortoise in 'The Tortoise and the Hare.•
But when you get to the end of the race it is
always done right. Know always that you are
a son that has made your parents proud.
Love,
Mama & Daddy

'KOJAK"
Jo-Jo,
Here we are 18 years after you ruined my
Christmas by being another brother. It just
so happens that was the best present I
received on December 26, 1983. You have
always been the most quiet an subdued of the
Parrish clan, but you what they say, •watch
out for the quiet ones.• You have been my
best fr1end a~d my l1ttle brother. I used to
worry about you a lot, but after going
through the tough time you had last year, I
know that you will be fine. I can finally let
you go out 1nto this world and know that you
will succeed without me. I am so proud of
the man that you have become. You are just
like our Daddy, wise beyond your years and a
very hard worker. Be proud of who you are,
this lS your time to shine. We love you Jo-
Jo.

PS - Remember that no ~atter where you are or
what you are doing Jamie is always there.
I'll bet he 1s just as proud of you as we
are. Someone once said:
What goes around ccmes around.
Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.
Sing like nobody's listening.
Live likes it's heaven on Earth.

My gosh it seems like only yesterday that
you were born. You have been a true blessing
in my life, and I thank God each and every
day for Mom and Dad's little •Uh-Oh.• I am
so proud of who you are and I can't wait to
see the man that you turn out to be. You
were my f1rst love, I loved you like you were
my own. My first 'little critter.• You have
been raised in a strong family, though the
quietest of the bunch, you are also one of
the toughest. Reach for the stars baby
brother, the sky is the limit. I love you
with all of my heart.
