Dear Katie,
We look at you today and see the same beautiful eyes that looked up at
us with love when you were a baby. We can still remember the first smile,
first word, and your first steps. It doesn't seem that long ago that we held
you in our arms, long after you were asleep, thanking God for such a
wonderful daughter. We look at you today and see our beautiful daughter,
no longer a baby, but a beautiful person with a full range of emotions,
feelings, ideas, and goals. Everyday is exciting and we continue to watch
you grow. We want you to know that in good times and bad times we will
love you. No matter what you do, how you think, or what you say, you can
depend on our support, guidance, friendship, and unconditional love. We
love being your parents.
