Float building is considered the best part of Homecoming by many people. It provides the
opportunity for each class to come together and spend quality time with one another. Each
night there was a huge turn-out, including supportive parents who volunteered their time to
help out. ''Mardi Gras'' turned out to be a great theme, and the floats all looked great. Even
the determined Freshmen did a great job! The Seniors all agreed they will definitely miss it.
BriHany Speakman, Christine Moses, Ashley Owens, EllioH Welder, and Many Juniors showed up for float building and all were proud of the final
Dorrie Sloan obviously had a liHie 'paint fight-! These seemed popular result. Stefan SuHon, a new member of Columbia High School, said,
'This is a lot of fun -- I never knew Homecoming was such a big deal/
among the students ....
