'The Tiger Mentor Program is facilitated through Project CATCH with the support of
yarious community .organizations. This program is designed to connect caring teens
with middle-school students who can benefit from their influence and support. To
mentor is to care about others. It involves offering support, advice, friendship,
reinforcement and constructive examples, and is a powerful tool for helping young
people fulfill their potential.
Students who are
mentored through the

to begin using drugs
27% less likely
to become alcoholics.
52% less likely
to skip school.
33% less likely
to engage in a fight.
