Karate is a Japanese martial art 1n wh1ch 1ts phys1cal aspects seek the
development of defensive and counterattacking body movements. The
themes of tradit1onal karate train1ng are fight1ng and self defense, though
1ts mental and moral aspects target the overall improvement of the
1ndiv1dual. If karate had to be described in only one sentence, then the
most su1table one may arguably be "You never attack first in karate."
In our everyday hves we often forget the value of exerose to both our
phys1cal and mental health. The practice of karate tones the body,
develops coordination, quickens refiexes, and builds stam1na. Also, the
serious pract1ce of karate develops composure, a clearer thought process,
deeper ins1ght into one's mental capabilities, and more self confidence.
