This year the yearbook staff was tnsptred by a popular blog
known as Humans of New York. The blog has taken the social
media world by storm, wtth over etght million followers. The
photographer, Brandon Stanton, uses the blog to gtve people
outside of New York City a look into the diverse lives of over
5,000 New Yorkers and counting. Humans of New York shows
how every person has a different story, somettmes stones that
you would never expect. This is true with the "humans" of CHS.
We all have so much to tell tn our disttnct stones and yearbook
figured what better way to show a story than through
photographs. After all, a ptcture 1s worth a thousand words.
Walk with us and take a peek tnto the many lives of
the humans of CHS. At first glance, we mtght JUSt seem like
teenagers attending htgh
school tke usual, but on the
instde there is no way
we should ever be
compared to someone else.
These photos depict a range of
things we experience from happtness
to spirit to confidence and even to sadness.
They reveal what we encounter tn our
everyday lives: blood drives, assemblies that move
us, and unforgettable football games. But one thing
that IS clearly shown 1n all these photos IS that we are
Tigers, brought together by our love for Columbta.
