Mr. Maurice Geiger is relaxed and at home in the Surrounded by plants, books, games and projects,
school environment . Mr. Geiger stimulates his students' minds.
Mr. Maurice Geiger, a man of many pans, is the
person to whom the '77 FALCON is dedicated. A
math instructor at LCJH for ten years, Mr. Geiger
has exemplified to his students many of the finest
uaits of a teacher.
Mr. Geiger values people, especially teenagers,
and enjoys helping junior high school students learn
things which will help them later in life.
When not in the classroom, he spends his time vol-
unteering as a Boy Scout Master, working in his
greenhouses where he raises orchids, singing, col-
lecting coins and stamps, creating string an, bowl-
ing, skating and doing gymnastics. Time this year
has become especially valuable for Mr. Geiger
because of his marriage to Miss Anne Parker.
Raising orchids has long been a special love of Mr.
Geiger, beginning when he was in the tenth grade.
He started with only four plants but now has over
5, 000, many of which have won ribbons and trophies
in shows all over Florida.
Born and raised in the same house in Well born
where he now lives, Mr. Geiger is busily at home in
his varied school, civic and private roles. His enthu-
siasm and dedication make him a standout teacher at
Good teaching means many hours of standing on the junior high and we hope to have his leadership
one's feet and getting close to students. for many years.
