New Paths
         Looking back,
I gazed at the path I had made,
         in the sand.
         and I thought,
         about myself,
about the paths I had walked,
and the new direction I was heading.

         And suddenly,
         I realized ...
         how small I was,
         and how insecure I was,
and how big the world was,
and I wanted to turn back,

         But as I turned
         and looked back .
the wind had blown out iny tracks.
         So I walked on forward,
         and didn't look back again.
