One of the most anticipated events of
the year is Student Government Day.
Student Council officers, Senior
Class officers, and five elected stu-
dents have the opportunity to visit
city officials and observe their work
for one day. Offices such as Mayor,
County Sheriff, Chief-of-Police, Fire
Chief and others are taken over by
the students. Student Government
Day gives these students a real in-
sight on how the city and government
is run.
