Bricks Rise to Meet O ur Expectations

Although there was a lot of doubt that
the new Senior High wouid ever be
built, all doubt was removed when
the ground breaking ceremonies
were held August 4, 1974. But
problems arose as sink-holes were
discovered and many complications
developed. Again there was dismay
and wondering if the school could be
constructed at its present site.

These worries were erased forever
though , as the new Columbia Senior
High School opened its doors to the
students September 8, 1975.
