History this school term, was high-
lighted around the Bicentennial Cel-
ebration. Bicentennial reports and
projects were a part of the course to
help benefit the students on the
background of their history. They

studied about the Presidents, Wars,
famous inventors, historical re-
mains, and the way it was 200 years
ago.
The course varies from U .S. History,
Americanism vs Communism,
Economics, Psychology, and Sociol-
ogy. New courses were offered this
time for students interested in Bible
Study, and Contemporary American
Government Affairs. These courses
are directed under; Mr. Bouie -
Head Chairman, Mr. Marsland, Mrs.
Snipes, Mrs. Carnathan, Mr.
Montgomery, Coach Colvin, and
Mr. Feldman.
1. Mrs. Snipes finds a Bicentennial book very
interesting in her spare time. 2. Mr. Marsland
gives history notes on a new Chapter. 3. Mr.
Feldman pauses between classes . 4. Mr.
Bouie is reviewing his lesson plans for the
day. 6. Mrs. Carnathan answers questions for
her Psychology class. 6. Mr. Montgomery
takes time to average out Economics grades.
7. Mr. Montgomery and Mrs. Carnathan find a
minute to play games with the class. 8. Coach
Colvin checks roll before teaching class.
