FRENCH CLUB

The French Club gives students
the opportunity to seek out and find
how people in a foreign country live.
The CHS French Club is very active,
they have participated in many
activities to broaden their
knowledge of the culture of France
including a Foreign Language
Festival sponsored by Valdosta
State College and by taking the
National French test. 1. Richard
Fernandez, Guy Norris, Kenny
Patterson , Marilyn Giebeig, and Ann
Giebeig have learned a lot in their
French class, here they are shown
examining the French flag. 2. Le
Tigre Francais (The French Tiger)
driven by Peggy Peele and Iris
Brown was the French club's entry
in the Homecoming parade. Mrs.
Barker is a very busy lady, besides
teaching all of the French classes at
CHS, she sponsors the French Club
and every other year she takes a
group of her students on a tour of
France.
