1. Homecoming is a distinct high-pomt of the school year
at Columbia High, and Homecoming week serves as a fun
way to lead up to the big game. Monday the week started
with the results of the Barrel Contest which was held the
previous week. 2. Monday is also the start of the Yarn
Contest. Representatives from the Semor, Junior, and
Sophomore classes encourage students to buy inches of
yarn and to sign up for Field Day events. 3. Finally,
Monday is College Team Day. Students came out in full
force wearing their favorite team's clothing to win points
for their class That night construction on the floats began.
