4. Tuesday was Fifties Day this Homecoming Week. Students and staff alike dressed up in their thirty·year·old fashions in honor
of the event. No points were awarded for dressing up, however, so why did people do it? Just to be we1rd, of course! After all
... this is Columbia High's Homecoming! 5. The final event of the day was the Student·Teacher Volleyball Game. The students
took great 6. pleasure In "spiking" their favonte teachers with the ball, JUSt as the teachers enjoyed threatening giving "F's"
to the students who did it.
7. Wednesday of Homecoming Week was jam·packed with activity. In Homeroom, Poster Day was observed by
choosing the best poster submitted in each Homeroom. In addit'on, Wednesday was Shorts Day and Hat and Visor
Day. Students wore their funkiest hats to bring in the pomts fur the1r class. , 9, 10 · Finally, Wednesday was
Field Day. Students tossed eggs, water· balloons. and each other to bring their class closer to Homecoming Victory.
Who would have ever believed that there could be so much fascination in a simple egg?
