and it left Lake City hocked. Male Cheerleader , or T T-
ME~ , added variety and excitement to an already out tanding
quad.
Going to camp wa a di advantage for thi fir t year co-ed
quad. They competed again t experienced co-ed cheer-
leader , and mo t importantly, them elve . The hard work
paid off and the Columbia High Cheerleader emerged Grand
hampion . To add to thi plendor, the were voted the mo t
congenial quad, won the firecracker award for being the mo t
pirited. quad, and al o captured thirteen ribbon . Thi quad
wa really fired up!
They returned to Lake City and added park to already
explo ive football game . Including the crowd in motivational
chant , uper pyramid and tunt , and even pu h-up after
touchdown (which got tiring a the Tiger cored into the
50' ),wereju tafewofthein piringfeat oftheVar ity quad.
A pecial bond between all of the cheerleader wa created a
they worked hard each week to prepare for pep rallie . Every-
one worked together to perfect routine that would amaze
many. Although many time it would be a matter of la t min-
ute planning to make the pyramid , dance and tunt turn out
a planned, the final product was worth the hard work. Hope-
fully, thi year' quad eta precedent for future cheerleader
at Columbia High. Even though even enior cheerleader
may have aid, "RAH!" for the la t time, the memorie of
cheerleading will alway be remembered.
