Morning Devotions came about three
years ago, when students from Berea
Baptist Church approached the principal
and requested permission to have an in-
terdenominational gathering once a
week. The principal granted them permis-
sion only on the fact that they would have
a sponsor. The meetings were held every
Wednesday morning from 7:45 to 8:00
a.m. in room 42. Area pastors became
involved with the group and many social
events were planned to get more students
involved in this friendly group. These stu-
dents spend their early morning time
learning about God and his word .
