OCT Preparing Our Future

In the Diversified Cooperative Training Club (OCT) students
are given valuable education skills in business as well as skills
that promote excellence in performance at the job of their
choice. They receive on-the-job training, as well as classroom
education that is very helpful for their future endeavors. Many
students agree that OCT is an outstanding learning experience,
and they were very proud that they decided to take OCT. The
club participates in many activities including raising money for
the Children's Cancer Center. Although this is a business orient-
ed class, the students will tell you that the club is not all work
and no play, they have a lot of fun. They had several club
activities including barbeques, a booth at the fair, and club
breakfasts. OCT encourages students to become productive
adults ... because it's the club for education!
