The 1990 girls' softball team accumulated a winning record of nine
wins and six losses. They finished in the conference with eight wins and
four losses. They also finished with three wins and one loss in the
district. These are the best records for district and conference play
since 1985. The Tigers had one all-conference player, Sherry Parker,
and also had three honorable mentions: Brenda Bunton, Drucilla Sapp,
and Amy Dubose. The Columbia High team did great this year, finishing
up with a third place in the district tournament.
