CHS has perhaps more than its share of uncommon students. People shine
in all areas of school and community life. From our ranking as # 10 national-
ly in football to district awards in FFA, students have made a difference in
Lake City. While the trend is to criticize youth, our students rise above the
mediocre to become involved, to become caring, to become more mature.
Such things as blood drives, parties for disadvantaged children, and peer
counseling show that these students care. We are truly number 1!
Leadership and friendship are the key words at
CHS. Whether it is in a gathering of friends in the
gym, a commitment to teamwork, or getting in-
volved w1th actiVIties that make school more
than must books and papers, students have
stopped to take t1me to be friends, to excel, and
to be creat1ve
