HOW SWEET IT IS!
I wake up with a soreness in my body that could come only from one of
Coach Eady's vigorous practice sessions. My mind concentrates not on the
aches, however, but on my vital role in tonight's game. I quickly place my
uniform, socks, and shoes in my bag. From there, I move swiftly out the door
to catch the waiting bus. This bus takes me to Columbia High School, the
home of the Fighting Tigers.
I arrive in first period at 8:05. The anticipation of winning tonight's game
soon sets in. During the day, I mentally prepare
myself until finally the 1st bell of the day
