The Tiger Swimteam got off to a slow start this year. The boys
started off with two swimmers, although there were four at one time,
the constant number was two. The girls however did very well this
season placing fifth out of eleven swim teams. This year the swim team
was blessed with the arrival of a new coach, Bill James. Coach James
worked the swimmers hard, but as hard work always goes, it paid off.
Times were lowered, methods improved and spirits soared. The swim
team had one swimmer, Kristi Jackson qualify to go to state. This year
even though the scores didn't always show it .. . CHS is number 1.
