Love, Caring, Honesty, and Respect is what keeps the varsity Tigerette Dance Team on
their dancing feet, along with our fabulous director, Kay Dekle. Without her and our 27
sparkling dancers, none of this would be possible. This year's captain is Krista Kalb. She
has done a wonderful job keeping the team at its best. But she's not alone! With 2 co-
captains Krissy Hirtz and Lisa Cox and 8 lieutenants: Lanette Bryan, Amy Dekle, Laurie
Mckinney, Crystal Nelson, Recee Norris, Michele Paphides, Katrina Vinzant, and Patti
Witt, nothing can go wrong! These girls acquired their positions by a team vote before
tryouts. This group does more than just entertain football fans at the Tiger games. The
Tigerettes travel every year to summer camp, go on trips to various places, dance at pep
rallies for the student body, attend competition, and even hold dance classes. Their
activities grow with each coming year. The saddest part of the whole year is losing our
seniors. No matter how much they think they're ready for it, by the end of the year they
want to stay. The Junior Tigerettes want to wish you seniors the best of luck as you start
out in the real world. Just remember that our times of friendship and fun will never be
forgotten and we love you all very much.
