Wrestling overcomes
odds, never giving up
The 1991-92 Columbia High
wrestling team faced a year for
rebuilding. After losing many
experienced seniors last year,
the team found they had to rely
on many young and
inexperienced members. The
lack of experience took its toll as
the Tiger grapplers struggled to
get wins. in spite of a tough
schedule the future of wrestling
at Columbia High looks bright.
This year has truly put many of
the young wrestlers to the test.
This test will only, in the end,
prove to be the foundation for
future success. One win still
equals a winner because the
team has tried hard and has

Senior Captain, Jon Ritch,
has been an important force
for the wrestling team
during the last three years.
In his career, Jon has
compiled a record of 52
wins, 19 by pins, with only
16 losses. Jon will be hard
to replace.
