For both Varsity and Junior Var-
sity softball teams this season is
one of change. Both teams are play-
ing tougher schedules, with many
new unchallenged teams. Varsity
plays in three tournaments, and JV
plays in their first tournament. The
outlook is very positive, both teams
have a lot of talent, winning atti-
tudes, and excellent coaches. Rod-
ney Waldron is the head coach for
Varsity, and Brenda Free is the as-
sistant coach. Mike Mahoney is the
head coach for JV. CHS softball ex-
periences nothing but success.
