French Club has been very busy this year
with cultural, social, and community
service activities.
The club went to Newberry High to see
the National Theatre for the Performing
Arts performance of Cyrano de Bergerac.
They went caroling (with Key Club) to the
VA Hospital and then had a pizza party
with activities such as volleyball and
basketball. Nous nous sommes bien amuses!
(This means:we had a great time!)
They joined with four other clubs (Key
Club, FHA-HERO, Interact and Debate
Club) to collect used clothing and used toys
for Christmas. The club ran a contest
between all the first-period classes and
kept students informed of the daily totals.
The student s'response was so terrific (4,900
items collected) that we decided to give
prizes to the top three winning classes.
These items w.ere donated to the Bethel
