LEADERSHIP FOR A GROWING PLANET
The Columbia Senior FFA chapter is preparing tomorrow's leaders
today. Chapter members participate in a variety of contests to build
leadership skills. Parliamentary procedure, public speaking, fair
activities, judging contests and many others are participated in each
year.

1. Marie Lang, Jerri Lynn Summers, and Mary Wilson, met Miss America, Carolyn
Suzanne Sapp.
2. Jerri Lynn Summers enjoyed spending time with the kids at the HRS Christmas
party.
3. Marie Lang and her steer "Bocephus" and buyer Brian Smithy of Delta Farm
Center.
4. Chad Stafford, Jerri Lynn Summers, Mary Wilson, and advisor Doug Register
attended the National FFA convention in Kansas City Missouri.
5. Mary Wilson, Gary Holton, Chad Stafford, Todd Marsett, Toni Salmon, Marie
Lang and Jerri Lynn Summers participated in subdistrict events.
6. The hay project has offered the chapter ways to improve our publications, raise
money and gain experience in the field of agriculture.
