to the roof in the Commons.
A New Look for the Old School
Columbia High School has a new look. No
more leaky roofs or buckets. Last year CHS
suffered from severe roof damage. Everytime it
rained the roof would leak, leaving the floors
wet and slippery. This made the floors very
dangerous to walk on, especially for those on
crutches. Now that the roof has been fixed, this
is no longer true. Other improvements have
been done to the Commons. The old, dull
green carpet was pulled up and replaced with
new, white tile. The old walls were stripped
down and replaced with stucco. Many ceiling
tiles were replaced as well as the walls. A new
'Senior Only" dining are was helped with the
overflow of the cafeteria crowd. Now that these
improvements have been made, try your best to
keep our school looking "NEW"!!!! - R.J. Little,
