I could say I wish you rainbows, sunny days and all
the gold in the universe. I do wish you this but, I wish
you much more--
l wish you a happy heart, a quick smile temper, and
an endless supply of patience laced with laughter, a
love of life, and for tiny helpless things.
May your eyes see the beauty of a sometimes ugly
world. May your fingertips and tiny nose be kissed by
butterflies.
May your hands feel the warmth of love always.
I wish your feet to be light and lovely with the
ability to dance cheerfully through this world and
the next.
May you travel only the very best paths of life. May
your heart be always filled with love, and may you be
able to endure the bad times with grace.
May you desire knowledge. But, Jami, above all, be
able to love, then your first steps in life will be steady
and on the right path.
