It's a Woman Thing
Once a year a group of girls from CHS join together
to compete for the title of Miss CHS. Only one girl
wins from the high school and she is chosen to
represent CHS. The process of becoming Miss CIIS is
a long and tedious time for the girls who arc
competing for the title. They had to show off their
talent and present their personality by dressing in
different styles of clothing. Miss CHS contestants
would all agree that this competition was a fun
learning experience. Although only one person could
wear the crown, all of the girls did an excellent job
representing CHS. Surely, the judges have tough
decisions to make when deciding who the next lucky
person will be who represents Columbia High School.
Here they are, the Miss CI-IS participants. Front row: Andrea! Gambles, Michelle Anderson, Rebecca
Carter, Yolanda Lewis. Second row: Rebecca Cox, Amanda Ogden, Amber Reeves, Summer S:~pp. Third
row: Erica Eadie, Teresa Tormns, julie Parsons, Amanda Payne, Jennifer Smith.
Amanda Ogden acts out her excerpt from Our Town .
Andrea! Gambles would agree that getting ready for Miss These Miss CHS participants made some good friends during this unforgettable experience.
CHS can be difficult and fun at the same time.
