Right now, the year of C.H.S. Golf Coach Randy Register watches as Travis Ryles hits from the sand.
has arrived. Columbia High's team has
played somewhat inconsistent over the
past few years. With a mix of strong
veteran players and some new blood,
high hopes for the 1995 season are
legitimate. Also new for the sports
curriculum of C.H.S. is a girl's golf team.
Sophomore golfer Allison Powers says,
"this has been a good year for girl's
sports. The addition of girl's golf and
soccer teams add to the selection of
extra-curricular activities." With seven
years of coaching under his belt, Coach
Randy Register is back for more. Coach
Register and girl's coach Deanna Nelson
are looking foward to the 1995 season.
