When you think of a team, you probably think about the brawny,
jockey type for team members. But then here comes this team where all
you need is a brain to participate. The Academic team is a group of students
with exceptional ability in academics. They go all over Florida competing
against other schools. The Academic Team won second place at the District
Tournament in November. They then attended the Conference Tournament
and came home with a Varsity win of Second place and Junior Varsity came
home with Third place . They later attended a tournament at the University
of Florida. The Varsity team members are John Sheehan, Mike Lominack,
Thomas Williamson, Andrew Kendrick , Rebah Soleman and Junior Varsity
Victoria Brush, Jamie Sipp, Audra Giesler, lan Luttaran, lan Fritz, Jackie
Abernathie, and Gaby Romero. The Academic Team is lead by Mrs. Martha
Baker.
