You have been, and continue to be, a joy to us. Your sense of
humor, love of gospel music, and ability to convey the gospel
through your singing only cratch the surface. You are a young man
of character, with a unique ensitivity and humbleness of spirit.
We are flooded with emotion when we look back and recount the
years, which seem to have gone by much too quickly. Memories of
Saturday breakfasts, family vacations, and field trips join the espe-
cially poignant memories of the lake and Sanibel Island where we
saw you mature from a toddler putting shells in your mouth to the
young man you are now holding your own in volleyball with the
adults. We have also watched you mature spiritually, and we feel for-
tunate and blessed to have you as our son. You bless our lives as we
watch you bless others.
As you move on to the next phase of your life, continue to keep
your eyes on the Lord and seek His guidance and will for your life.
Also know that we will be here for you.
"The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice; and he that
begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy
mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice." (Prov. 23:
24,25)
We do rejoice in you, and we are so very proud of you.
