We all remember our fantastic homecoming week and how much fun everyone had
dressing up as a nerd, a business person, a super hero or super villain, in class colors,
a person throughout the ages, and represent your country day! Many students were
wondering during homecoming "why did my class get Greece, Egypt, Canada or
Australia?"Well, the class officers got together, drew numbers out of a hat, and then
based on their number, got to choose the country their class would represent. Fresh-
men president, Kayla Archer, chose Egypt. Why? She thought it would get her class
excited to "walk like Eygptians" and help them win. The sophomore class decision was
a group effort, because no one could think of a good country, so their class officers
had other sophomores vote and they chose Australia. Many thought it'd be fun to
dress from the outback! Meg han Collins, Junior class president thought that it would
be fun to pick Canada and dress like Mounties! Senior class president Arden Sibber-
nsen chose Greece because Seniors wanted to sport togas and dress like gladiators.
All officers had their reasons for choosing these countries and whether their choices
made sense at the time or not, everything turned out great!
