performed at a local elementary school. Of all the teachers at Columbia high school some of
them go beyond just teaching, they are also coaches.
They coach teams like soccer, tennis, and weightlifting.
Coach Shoup, the weightlifting coach, says his favorite
thing about being a coach and teacher is "having the
opportunity to work with kids:'

School and the Community
This year the school hosted a program called Future Now. The
group performed songs and gave a couple of inspirational
messages for the present and preparing for the future to the
students.
