Playmg for the NFL's Philidelphia Eagles, Columb1a High alumnus Timmy
Jern1gan played dunng Super Bowl Lll and helped to defeat the New
England Patriots. While Timmy was here at CHS, Coach Allen, also a
former alumnus, was h1s football coach. Dunng h1s t1me playmg 1n the NFL,
Coach Allen also made 1t all the way to the Super Bowl, play1ng for the
Samt Louis Rams 1n Super Bowl XXXVI and then w1th the Carolina
Panthers 1n Super Bowl XXXVIII. Both times, Coach Allen competed
aga1nst and lost to Tom Brady and the Patnots. He cons1dered this year's
win by the Eagles over the Patnots a vind1cat1on, havmg his very own
player being mvolved w1th Brady's take down .
